LOL... just started listening to this episode. Meditation is still something on my list of things to explore. I just haven't prioritized it in my list of things to do.
But it's like with any other productivity habit. We have to adopt one habit at a time and let it stick before going on to the next thing. I'm experimenting with other things right now but I will eventually get around to meditation.
But it is true that if it doesn't work for you today, put it away. Its time just isn't right now. This is what I had to do with GTD. Try it out for a bit; put it away; get back on the bandwagon; get off the bandwagon; return back to it when I am at a different place and time in my life.
